Meet the Founder of W3 Language Solutions
Hello! I'm Richard Snowden, the founder/sole proprietor of W3 Language Solutions. I earned B.A. summa cum laude degrees in English and Political Science from Northern Illinois University in 2008, returned to NIU to earn a third B.A. (also summa cum laude) in Spanish in 2020, and am on track to earn my master's degree in Professional Translation from Universitat Rovira i Virgili (Tarragona, Spain) in 2025. I'm also a graduate of the Proofread Anywhere Transcript Proofreading Theory and Practice course, equipping me with the specialized knowledge required to proofread transcripts of court and legal proceedings. On a professional level, I've worked in journalism with Consumers Digest magazine and the Elburn (Illinois) Herald newspaper and spent several years working as a content screener/proofreader with Legacy.com while also doing freelance editing on the side, accumulating a vast wealth of editorial skills and language expertise along the way. While pursuing my degree in Spanish, I also studied in Mexico City at UNAM (one of Latin America's top universities), where one of my course essays (written in Spanish) was selected for publication in Flores de Nieve, the journal of the UNAM Foreigners' Teaching Center. Whether I'm working in English or Spanish, I'm always intently focused on every detail and nuance of the text with a singular objective in mind: to produce the cleanest, clearest, most precise, and most readable copy possible. No matter which of my services you may require, thanks to my many years of eclectic experience and education, you can be confident that the end product will meet or exceed expectations—and thanks to my journalism background, you can rest assured that it will be delivered on deadline as well. Thank you for visiting my website, and I look forward to serving your editorial and/or translation needs.
